On June 7, 2023, at approximately 9:08 p.m., a tragic incident unfolded at America's Best Value Inn & Suites, located on Sierra Highway in Lancaster, California. Two brothers, 29-year-old Luther Crayton of Lancaster and 28-year-old Shane Wallace of Los Angeles, were fatally shot during an apparent robbery at the motel.
