On June 9, 2024, at approximately 12:48 a.m., Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the 14700 block of Gridley Road in Norwalk, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 25-year-old Brian Garcia suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck in Gerdes Park. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene at 1:11 a.m.
