On June 18, 2024, at approximately 4:15 p.m., Richmond Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, the location of Family Market and Deli. Upon arrival, officers found 21-year-old Richmond resident Maciyah Brown deceased at the scene.
