On June 18, 2024, at approximately 4:15 p.m., a shooting occurred in the 700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in Richmond, California, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to two others. The Contra Costa County Coroner identified the deceased as 30-year-old Alvaro Garcia Par and 21-year-old Maciyah Brown, both residents of Richmond.
