On the night of September 18, 2024, at approximately 10:55 p.m., the San Diego County Sheriff's Office received multiple reports of gunshots in the 2200 block of Dain Court in Lemon Grove, California. Deputies arrived at the scene around 11:00 p.m. and discovered 23-year-old Darron Willie Singleton Jr. lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso.
