On September 21, 2024, 14-year-old JonDavid Lee Castleman of Stockton, California, was fatally shot near Carolyn Weston Boulevard and Manthey Road in the Weston Ranch area. He arrived at a local hospital around 6 a.m. with a gunshot wound and, despite medical efforts, succumbed to his injuries later that evening.
