On July 20, 2021, Michael Newsome, a 33-year-old resident of Stockton, California, was tragically killed in a shooting incident. The incident occurred around 9:42 PM in the 1800 block of San Joaquin Street. When officers arrived at the scene, they found two men who had been shot. Michael Newsome was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
