On October 4, 2024, at approximately 2:41 a.m., a tragic shooting occurred near the Westwood Village Shopping Center in Redding, California, resulting in the deaths of 22-year-old Isaiah Jacob Stanley and 30-year-old Winfred "Bookie" Avant Jr. Three other individuals sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Mercy Hospital for treatment.
