On March 16, 2024, at approximately 2:20 p.m., Redding Police Department officers responded to a report of a gunshot victim at a residence on the 3500 block of Ricardo Avenue in Redding, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 22-year-old Paul Nelson deceased inside the home, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound.

Investigators determined that multiple individuals were present in the residence at the time of the shooting. Among them was 19-year-old Ethan Couch, who was reportedly han ...
