Karl Lee Bernardo, a 50-year-old homeless man, was found dead on October 19, 2021, in Mercy Canyon, Redding, California. His body was discovered inside a tent, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Redding police quickly identified and arrested 19-year-old Alejandro Nunez Armstrong for the murder.
