On October 29, 2024, 43-year-old Jorge Guerrero Hurtado was fatally shot in the Mid-Wilshire area of Los Angeles, California. The incident occurred around 4:15 p.m. in the 900 block of South Victoria Avenue. Hurtado was riding an electric bicycle when he was intentionally struck by a vehicle. The driver then exited the car and shot Hurtado multiple times before fleeing the scene. Emergency responders pronounced Hurtado dead at the scene.
