Radivoje Matic, an 80-year-old Yugoslav immigrant and retired bank executive, was last seen on October 31, 1990, in downtown San Diego, California. Matic was walking with two friends that day, all of whom lived in a senior citizen high-rise apartment building. While his friends decided to return home, Matic told them he wanted to go to a nearby Carl's Jr. restaurant. That was the last time he was seen by them.
Although there were reported sightings of Matic in various parts of San Diego in the days following his disappearance, he never returned to his apartment. His residence remained untouched, with all of his belongings left inside. Matic’s daughter mentioned that he had occasional memory lapses but was otherwise in good health. She expressed concern after a phone call with him on the day of his disappearance, during which he sounded "strange" and gave her the impression that he felt unloved or uncared for.
Despite searches and reported sightings, Matic's whereabouts remain unknown, and his case remains unsolved. The San Diego Police Department continues to investigate the case.Last Seen: Oct 31, 1990
