On November 8, 2024, at approximately 5:15 a.m., deputies from the Fontana Sheriff's Station responded to a reported shooting at a residence on the 18800 block of Ninth Street in Bloomington, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 32-year-old Pedro Chavez deceased inside the home.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department's Homicide Detail took over the investigation and identified the suspect as the victim's younger brother, 25-year-old David Chavez, also a resident of Bloomin ...
