On the night of April 25, 2023, the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting at a residence on Brown Road in Crossville, Tennessee. Upon arrival around 11:10 p.m., deputies discovered 53-year-old Terri Loretta Pitton with a gunshot wound. Emergency medical services were summoned, and Pitton was transported to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
