On January 19, 2019, Linda Damewood, a 74-year-old woman from Crossville, Tennessee, tragically lost her life in a shooting incident at her Lake Tansi home. Damewood was shot once in the head while sitting in her recliner. Her siblings, 63-year-old Andrew Schan and 73-year-old Ellen Cairns, were also wounded in the attack.
The investigation into Damewood's death led to the arrest of Doneal Marie Clark, who was charged with first-degree murder. Clark was held in the Cumberland County jail
