On May 12, 2023, 50-year-old Christopher Sean Lampkin of Lenoir City, Tennessee, tragically lost his life due to an accidental firearm discharge. The incident occurred shortly after he attended a graduation ceremony at Lenoir City High School. As Lampkin and a relative waited on the steps for their Uber, he stood up to put on his jacket, at which point a .38 caliber Derringer he was carrying discharged.
