On June 14, 2023, at approximately 5:30 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a report of gunfire on the 900 block of North Orchard Knob Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered 24-year-old Cordarrius DeQuan "Bo" Bailey suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
