On March 1, 2024, a tragic event unfolded in Chattanooga, Tennessee, resulting in the deaths of 25-year-old Jessica Smith and her six-year-old daughter, Ailin Gil. Jessica, a white female born on April 1, 1998, was an employee at a local Amazon facility. Her daughter, Ailin, was born on June 6, 2017.

The incident was determined to be a murder-suicide perpetrated by 29-year-old Christian Gil. Authorities reported that Gil fatally shot both Jessica and young Ailin before taking his own life ...
