In the late hours of a Tuesday night in Knoxville, Tennessee, the life of a young man was tragically cut short. On April 30, 2024, officers from the Knoxville Police Department were dispatched to the 1800 block of Prospect Place in the Morningside neighborhood following a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival at approximately 11:40 p.m., they discovered a man lying on the ground, having sustained at least one gunshot wound.
