Brett Lamar Dillard, a 39-year-old African American man from Columbus, OH, tragically died on August 25, 2016, in Knoxville, TN. He was known for his strong faith and community involvement, having been baptized at Church of Christ Brentnell Avenue and attending East High School and Job Corps. Brett is survived by his mother Lori Harrison, father Vincent C. Jordan, son Qweontay Smith, daughter Jaionna Dillard, sister Micah Johnson, and numerous other family members and friends.
