In the early morning hours of July 2, 2024, a tragedy unfolded in the parking lot of The Pint House, a bar on Merchant Drive in Knoxville, Tennessee, that would claim the life of 28-year-old Zachery Herrera. Herrera, a security guard at the establishment, was approached by two men who initiated an assault for reasons that remain unknown. The night took a fatal turn when a patron, 41-year-old John Goosie, attempted to intervene in the altercation.
