On July 23, 2024, 76-year-old Willie Jackson was fatally shot in the Whitehaven neighborhood of Memphis, Tennessee. The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of Auburn and Blanchard Roads, where Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene.
