In the winter of 2021, the life of 19-year-old Martez Morris was tragically cut short in Memphis, Tennessee. On the evening of Sunday, January 10th, police responded to a call in the Hickory Hill neighborhood. There, they discovered the young man inside a vehicle, the victim of a fatal shooting.

Emergency services pronounced Morris dead at the scene, his life taken by the violence of a gunshot wound. The Memphis Police Department later confirmed his identity and classified his death as a ...
