In the late summer of 2024, the community of Gadsden, Tennessee, was shaken by the violent death of 47-year-old Fredrine Booker. On Saturday, August 24th, Booker was fatally shot, a tragedy that would soon lead to the arrest of a local man. The Crockett County Sheriff's Office quickly identified a suspect, 66-year-old Ephram Cook, also of Gadsden.
