On October 29, 2024, Ta'Lesha Farmer, a 31-year-old woman from southeast Shelby County, was tragically killed in a shooting incident in Richwood, Tennessee. The Shelby County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) initially responded to reports of a shooting and discovered Farmer's body at the scene.
