On January 31, 2023, at approximately 11:46 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to reports of a person with a gun on the 2600 block of North 13th Street. Upon arrival, they discovered 36-year-old Samuel Rosario-Gonzalez lying in the street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, particularly to his abdomen. Emergency medical personnel transported him to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after midnight on February 1, 2023.
