On February 7, 2023, 15-year-old Tre’Sean Lamar Jackson was fatally shot in Pittsburgh's Allentown neighborhood. Responding to a ShotSpotter alert around 5:10 p.m., police found Jackson with a gunshot wound to the chest near Loyal Way and Harcourt Way. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition but was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
