Death by Force

On the morning of March 8, 2023, at approximately 7 a.m., York City Police responded to a report of a cardiac arrest in the 700 block of Kelly Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered 19-year-old Jandel Jamil Cruz lying outside, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. The York County Coroner's Office pronounced him dead at 7:55 a.m., and an autopsy conducted the following day confirmed the cause of death as a gunshot wound, ruling it a homicide.
