On March 16, 2023, at approximately 11 p.m., a triple shooting occurred on the 5100 block of Leiper Street in Philadelphia's Frankford neighborhood. Among the victims was 27-year-old Tsiahjard "Shard" Richards, who sustained gunshot wounds to the head and torso. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Two other individuals, a 30-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man, were also injured in the incident and were listed in stable condition.
