On March 17, 2023, at approximately 4:43 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to a call on the 400 block of West Cambria Street, where they discovered 30-year-old Tasheed Z. Fields lying in the street with a gunshot wound. Officers immediately transported him to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. Despite the medical team's efforts, Tasheed succumbed to his injuries on March 20, 2023.
