In a tragic turn of events stemming from a family dispute, 22-year-old Anthony D. Byrd, Jr. was shot and killed in his Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania home on March 25, 2023. The events that led to his death reportedly began with a pickup basketball game, where tensions flared between Anthony and his younger brother, Amir Byrd.
