On April 1, 2023, at approximately 4:30 a.m., Farrell Police Department officers responded to a disturbance in the 800 block of Roemer Boulevard in Farrell, Pennsylvania. Upon arrival, they were informed that 21-year-old Jayson Burns, a resident of Sharon, had been transported to UPMC Farrell Hospital with a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
