Death by Force

Terrence Butler, a 21-year-old student-athlete at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was found dead in his on-campus apartment on August 2, 2023. Butler, a forward on the men's basketball team and a rising junior in the College of Engineering, was discovered by university officials. The Philadelphia Department of Public Health later confirmed that his death was a suicide resulting from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
