In the late hours of a Tuesday night in Philadelphia, the Shangri-La takeout restaurant on Chester Avenue became the scene of a tragedy that claimed the life of 19-year-old Johron Jones. On January 17, 2023, just before 11:30 p.m., two armed individuals burst into the small eatery and opened fire, unleashing a hail of at least 15 bullets.
