Death by Force

On August 19, 2023, at approximately 1:34 a.m., a mass shooting occurred on the 500 block of Creighton Street in West Philadelphia, resulting in the death of 19-year-old Kevin July. Responding officers found multiple victims at the scene, including July, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead later that morning.
