On August 28, 2023, in Canadensis, Pennsylvania, 68-year-old Deborah Ann (Birnbaum) Oliver was found deceased in her home alongside her husband, 69-year-old Michael Oliver. Both had sustained fatal gunshot wounds. The couple was discovered by friends who, concerned for their well-being, visited their residence.
