Katara Lashai Bray, a 22-year-old woman from McKeesport, Pennsylvania, tragically lost her life on February 8, 2021, in Pittsburgh's Lawrenceville neighborhood. She was driving when she was shot in the head, causing her vehicle to drift about half a block before crashing into a utility pole. Bray was pronounced dead at the scene. Known for her bright smile and kind nature, Bray was deeply loved by her family and friends, who described her as a beautiful person and a devoted mother.
