On October 3, 2023, in Colver, Pennsylvania, 47-year-old Jennifer R. Emerson was found deceased alongside 59-year-old Richard Baker on the porch of a residence along 5th Street. Both individuals had sustained single gunshot wounds to the head. Authorities determined that Baker fatally shot Emerson before taking his own life in an apparent murder-suicide.
