In a tragic turn of events on the evening of January 29, 2016, Cheryl Lynne Tremmel, a 44-year-old female, was found deceased in her Hermitage, Pennsylvania, home. An investigation by Hermitage police revealed that she had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, leading to her death in what was determined to be a homicide. The incident, which unfolded on Sample Road, also involved her husband, Edward Tremmel, 51, who was discovered at the scene with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his face.
