Death by Force

On December 3, 2023, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Pittsburgh police responded to reports of a shooting at Sophie's Saloon on Brownsville Road in the Carrick neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered 28-year-old Cole Kerns on the establishment's back patio, suffering from gunshot wounds to the head and shoulder. Tragically, Kerns was pronounced dead at the scene.
