On January 22, 2024, in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, 43-year-old Carrie L. Boneforte was tragically killed in a murder-suicide incident involving her longtime partner, 48-year-old Scott Richards. Authorities responded to a domestic dispute at their residence on East Union Street around 8:26 p.m., discovering Boneforte deceased from a gunshot wound to the head in a bedroom, and Richards suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
