In the early evening of January 28, 2024, the life of 21-year-old Jason Jamar Ferguson, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. The fatal incident unfolded at approximately 6:20 p.m. near the intersection of West 7th and Lamokin Streets in Chester, Pennsylvania. Officers from the Chester Police Department responded to reports of a shooting and, upon their arrival, discovered Ferguson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
