On April 19, 2024, at approximately 2:00 p.m., Pittsburgh police responded to reports of a shooting inside a residence on the 500 block of Lowell Street in the city's Larimer neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered 48-year-old Nathaniel Walker suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
