On June 1, 2024, at approximately 6:30 PM, a tragic incident occurred at Fountain Park in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Angel Martinez-Velez, a 25-year-old resident of Allentown, was found dead on a basketball court in the park, located along Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The victim had been shot multiple times, and was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:17 PM by the Lehigh County Coroner.
