On June 4, 2024, at approximately midnight, 25-year-old Haneef K. White was fatally shot in Johnstown's Woodvale neighborhood, specifically on Plum Street. Responding to reports of gunfire, authorities discovered White with a single gunshot wound to the head. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene while en route to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
