On the evening of July 22, 2024, 27-year-old Philadelphia resident Jair Mack was fatally shot in the Kensington neighborhood. At approximately 10 p.m., while crossing the street near the intersection of Kensington and Allegheny avenues with an unidentified woman, a dark-colored Jeep approached. A passenger exited the vehicle and pursued Mack, firing multiple shots. Mack sustained several gunshot wounds and was found at G Street and Allegheny Avenue.
