Edgar Morales, an 18-year-old resident of Philadelphia, was killed on December 23, 2016. Morales, known affectionately as "Chimmy," was an aspiring plumber and a student who had a close-knit relationship with his mother. The incident occurred on the 2400 block of East Stella Street in Philadelphia. When authorities arrived at the scene, they found Morales shot. He was pronounced dead shortly afterward. This tragic event added to the long list of homicides that Philadelphia experienced in 2016.
