In the summer of 2014, a Sunday afternoon in the West Oak Lane neighborhood of Philadelphia was shattered by violence that claimed the life of 21-year-old Trashawn Anderson. On June 22nd, police responded to a call shortly before 4:45 p.m. and discovered Anderson in an alleyway on the 1900 block of 69th Avenue, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
