Trashawn Anderson, a 21-year-old resident of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was fatally shot on June 22, 2014. On that Sunday afternoon, officers responded to a report of gunfire in the 1900 block of 69th Avenue in the West Oak Lane neighborhood at approximately 4:44 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Anderson lying in an alleyway, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was promptly transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries that evening.
