Terran Devore Page-Hughes Sr., a 35-year-old African American man from Sharon, Pennsylvania, died on August 1, 2024, after being shot in the head on the 800 block of Ravine Place. He was transported to Sharon Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. Born on December 12, 1988, in Detroit, Michigan, Terran relocated to Pennsylvania in 2001 and spent most of his life in Sharon.
He was a father to seven children and was known by several nicknames, including "Gank Man" and "Babyface Tee."
The investigation into his death led to the arrest of three individuals. Billy DeWayne Phillips, a 33-year-old African American man, was arrested shortly after the incident. Phillips admitted to accompanying two other men to confront Terran over a prior altercation involving Phillips' relative. He claimed he fled upon hearing gunshots. Despite surveillance footage showing Phillips backing away during the shooting, he was charged with first-degree murder, criminal homicide, conspiracy, and assault.
In April 2025, Phillips stood trial in Mercer County Common Pleas Court. The jury acquitted him of all murder charges but found him guilty of aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit aggravated assault. His sentencing was scheduled for July 22, 2025.
Another suspect, 31-year-old African American man Jamel Lamar Jordan, was charged with criminal homicide, first-degree murder, and carrying an unlicensed firearm. According to the criminal complaint, Jordan and another man went to Ravine Place intending to fight Terran, and police believe they are the ones who shot him. As of the latest reports, Jordan had not been arrested.
The third suspect, 33-year-old African American man Daniel Odem Jr., was charged with criminal homicide, first-degree murder, and firearms violations. However, in April 2025, the charges against Odem were dismissed due to issues with a witness. The Mercer County District Attorney indicated that efforts were underway to refile charges against him.
Terran's death was a significant loss to his family and community. He was remembered for his vibrant personality, deep faith, and devotion to his children. A GoFundMe campaign was organized by his brother, Orlondo Page, to assist with funeral expenses.
