On September 14, 2024, at approximately 5:06 a.m., Robert Cox, 50, contacted 911 from his residence in the Crawford Village housing complex in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, reporting that his wife, Tammy Cox, 51, had been shot by individuals outside their home.
Upon arrival, law enforcement officers found Tammy Cox with gunshot wounds to her upper chest and back. Contrary to his initial statement, Robert Cox informed the officers that his wife had inflicted the wounds upon herself.
